Benjamin Moser is the author of Sontag: Her Life and Work which won the Pulitzer Prize and Why This World: A Biography of Clarice Lispector, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics’ Circle Award. For his work bringing Clarice Lispector to international prominence, he received Brazil’s first State Prize for Cultural Diplomacy.

Sanam Mahloudji is an American writer born in Tehran and based in London. She is the winner of a Pushcart Prize for her fiction and was nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. Her debut novel, The Persians, was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize 2025.

Molly McGhee is from a cluster of unincorporated towns outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
She completed her M.F.A. in fiction at Columbia University, where, in addition to receiving a Chair’s Fellowship, she taught in the undergraduate creative writing department. She has worked in the editorial departments of McSweeney’s, The Believer, NOON, and Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Currently living in Brooklyn, her work has appeared in The Paris Review.

When she was six, the family moved to a small coastal village in Italy, where her father made a living as a translator of classical works and editor of textbooks.
