Kayo Chingonyi FRSL is a poet, writer, and editor. His poetry collection, Kumukanda, won the Dylan Thomas Prize and a Somerset Maugham Award and is now a set text on the IGCSE syllabus. His second collection, A Blood Condition, was shortlisted for the Costa Poetry Prize, Forward Prize for Best Collection, and the T.S. Eliot Prize. Kayo was a Burgess Fellow at the Centre for New Writing, University of Manchester before joining Durham University where he is an Associate Professor in Creative Writing. He is poetry editor at Bloomsbury, overseeing a list which encompasses the breadth and dynamism of contemporary Anglophone poetry. He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2022.

Dr David Cox is a specialist health and medical journalist. He has a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, and has covered all aspects of healthcare over the past decade, with a particular focus on nutrition and the ongoing revolution in ageing science. He writes regularly for newspapers, broadcasters and scientific journals around the world including The Telegraph, The Guardian, BBC, The Times, WIRED and NBC News to the British Medical Journal. His work is often discussed on TV and radio programmes around the world, and he has been shortlisted 14 times for various journalism awards.

Catherine Cho is the author of the memoir Inferno, which was shortlisted for the Jhalak Prize. She was a finalist for the 2020 Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. The Devoted is her debut novel.

Cameron Crowe became Rolling Stone’s youngest-ever contributor as a fifteen-year-old high school graduate, going on to conduct all-time-best interviews with the likes of Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Elton John, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and the Who. Crowe is also an acclaimed filmmaker who has written and directed films including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Say Anything … , Singles, Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, and Almost Famous (for which he won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay). He wrote the definitive book on the work of writer-director Billy Wilder, Conversations with Wilder. Crowe is currently at work on a film based on the life and music of Joni Mitchell. He has three children and lives in Southern California.

Michael Connelly is an American author of detective novels and other crime fiction, notably those featuring LAPD Detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch and criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller. His books have been translated into 36 languages and have won many awards. He lives with his family in Florida.
