Jenny McCartney grew up in Northern Ireland and lives in London, where she works as a writer and reviewer for a variety of national publications. The Ghost Factory is her first novel.

Jenny McCartney grew up in Northern Ireland and read English at Keble College, Oxford, after which she lived in Prague before doing an MA in newspaper journalism at City University, London.
She lives with her family in London where she works as a writer and reviewer for national media including The Sunday Times, the Spectator, the Telegraph and BBC Radio 4.
Her children’s book The Stone Bird, illustrated by Patrick Benson, is published by Andersen Press. The Ghost Factory is her first novel.
