Bee Wilson in conversation with Diana Henry, Daunt Book Festival

11 March 2016 1:30 pm 2:30 pm

Food historian Bee Wilson will be investigating our first tastes and the ways in which they influence the way we eat and cook for the rest of our lives. We either learn to love broccoli – or not. But how does this happen? What are the origins of taste? Bee will be in discussion of all things formative and culinary and how we can change our palate with best-selling food writer and cook Diana Henry, whose book A Change of Appetite, follows Diana’s own journey to a different way of cooking and eating.

‘Bee Wilson is the ultimate food scholar. First Bite is a brilliant study of how we form our food preferences and how we may be able to change them. Her narrative kept me hungry for more until the very end.’ Yotam Ottolenghi
