Judith Hooper

Judith Hooper is a journalist and nonfiction author who frequently writes on scientific subjects. She is the author of three books: Of Moths and Men (Fourth Estate, W.W. Norton), The 3-Pound Universe (Macmillan), and Would the Buddha Wear a Walkman? (Simon & Schuster). Her articles have appeared in Atlantic Monthly, New York Times, Omni, Tricycle, Lear’s and many other publications. A native Californian, she is graduate of Smith College and holds a master’s degree in comparative literature from the University of California, Berkeley. She lives in western Massachusetts with her husband and son.
