David Matthews

David Matthews is an award-winning writer and journalist who has written for the Sunday Times, Observer, the Sunday Telegraph, Esquire and the Mail on Sunday. His debut book, Looking for a Fight, was short-listed for the 2001 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award and tells of his remarkable journey into the dark heart of professional boxing. His second book, Man Buys Dog, is a tragicomic exposé of the world of greyhound racing. David has also produced and presented radio and television documentaries, including the critically acclaimed BBC series, The Trouble With Black Men, which was short-listed for two RTS awards.
