Chris Hirst wrote the witty ‘Weasel’ column in the Independent for over a decade and was nominated for the Glenfiddich Best Food Writer Award in 2007. Chris regularly commentates on current food issues in the Daily Telegraph and Intelligent Life magazine.

Prompted partly by gastronomic curiosity and partly by sheer greed, Mr H entered the kitchen with Mrs H as his guide. The result is perhaps the most honest food book ever written. It is certainly one of the funniest.
